Bookings and Registrations

Our programmes, workshops and other engagements are designed with due consideration towards our participants and priced fairly to offer the best value possible. To stay fair and transparent in our transactions, we have a clear cancellation policy to ensure coverage of our costs and maintain the standards and on-going viability of all our engagements. We urge you to check your calendar carefully to ensure your availability for any programme, workshop or session (these terms are used interchangeably) which you may book with us.

 

Workshop registrations can be done on the website, by contacting Breakfast@Cinema online via its social media handles, email, or in person, and is confirmed only when full payment has been received from a participant. Bookings can be made in advance of the workshop commencing if seats are available, or at the discretion of the workshop organisers.

 

In the event that sufficient confirmed registrations have not been received to run the programme effectively, or unforeseeable circumstances which do not allow the programme to run as intended, Breakfast@Cinema reserves the right to cancel the workshop. In such a case,the full amount shall be refunded to those who have made a booking for the programme.

 

Breakfast@Cinema aims to start its programmes at the specified time always, so you are requested to be mindful of it. If a participant is late beyond a reasonable time they may be refused admittance, based on the discretion of the facilitator. In such cases, no part of the fee shall be refunded to the participant.

Our programmes are designed to invite varied opinions which facilitates learning and development of the participants and the group. When you sign up for any such events you willingly consent to participate in these discussions and screenings.

  1. If you need to cancel a workshop

    • We appreciate that sometimes due to certain circumstances, registrants may be unable to attend an engagement despite their best intentions. In such a case, any refund of the fees paid for the programme, in part or full, will be at the discretion of Breakfast@Cinema. However, Breakfast@Cinema would be happy to admit a substitute participant in place of this registrant, whose name and contact information must be provided to Breakfast@Cinema prior to the commencement of the said programme. Certificates, post-session communication, etc. if any, will be in the name of the actual attendee

  2. Our Cancellation and Administration Fee

    • For workshops at designated location

      • Closed programmes in the physical format: For closed engagements designed and conducted for organisations, institutions and social groups, the terms and conditions will be mutually defined by the client(s) and Breakfast@Cinema on a case-to-case basis

      • Open programmes in the physical format: Due the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, open programmes in the physical format are on hold. The terms of such engagements will be defined once such programmes are on offer again.For online/virtual workshops:See (1.)

  3. Our right to cancel a workshop

    • We reserve the right to make any changes to any aspect of any workshop without notice. Should we need to cancel a workshop due to unforeseen circumstances, we will aim to give registrants as much notice as possible of the cancellation. A full refund will be issued without any liability for travel or other costs borne separately by the registrant

  4. Right to admission to a workshop

    • We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to decline entry and/or to discontinue attendance to anyone who may have registered to any of our workshops. Refund in such cases will be at the discretion of the organisers

  5. Workshop Suitability

    • All programmes advertised by Breakfast@Cinema specify the necessary information regarding the programme on its website. In case of any clarification, interested participants are requested to contact the Breakfast@Cinema team. Unless specified, registrants do not need to fulfill any prerequisites to attend a programme. However, we do not take any responsibility as to the suitability of any workshop, and will not entertain any claims for refund of fees in such cases. Our open workshops are intended for those above 18 years of age unless specified in various promotions, communications, and/or our website.
